S.W.A.T. Challenge

Do you have what it takes to be a S.W.A.T. member?

Do you think you can handle the challenging physical fitness qualifications?

Well, here is your chance to find out.

The Willow Springs Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the Willow Springs Police Department to give you the chance to see if you've got what it takes. You won't be a SWAT team member, but you'll know if you can do it.

It takes place on July 4th, 2023 at Palenske Field in Willow Springs. Cost is $30 and includes a t-shirt.

Pre-registration is required for a t-shirt. Pre registration ends June 25th, 2023. Event day registration begins at 0600 with the event starting at 0700.

The events will include:

Active Shooter Sprint: 40 yds holding a light breaching tool (10 lbs.)

Officer Rescue: Drag a simulated downed officer to safety. (155 lbs)

Equipment carry: Carry a breaching tool to a simulated breach point (25 lbs)

Run: 1/4 mile run

Simulated Obstacle Climb: Complete 2 weighted pull-ups (20 lbs)
